Description: Castle Island, a new startup brewery, needed a mark that would stand out in the crowded landscape of microbrews. Their namesake came from the area where Fort Independence once stood tall protecting the Boston Harbor. Using the fort’s famous canons as inspiration, the new logo nods at history but never forgets what really matters. The beer.
